Steam Back On Winning Ways - 6-3 Over Cherokee

The Queen City Steam found themselves back on the winning track after Sunday's contest against the Toledo Cherokee.

Ryan Stephens (4:24) and Patrick Higgins (PP 8:34) starting the scoring for the Steam, but Doug Lindensmith (PP 12:10) would bring it back within a point by the end of the first period.

Period two would belong to the Steam, with Patrick Nelson scoring two (4:58 / PP 18:01) around Raymond Gilles marker (PP 8:49)

Toledo attempted to make a game out of it when Frank Matyok scored 9:48 in the third, but Michael Lebowitz would put the game far out of reach with a marker at 17:26.  Lindensmith would score his second of the game at 18:03, but that would be all for Toledo.

The Steam remain in the friendly confines of Sports Plus, hosting the Metro Jets - game times are 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 10th, and 1:00 PM Sunday, November 11th.
