Roll Over Rover - Steam Pound Ice Dogs In Game 1

Patrick Higgens scored a hat trick and three Steam players had two assists each as Queen City schooled the visiting Michigan Ice Dogs 7-4.

Queen City scored three times in the first period, twice in the second period, and twice in the third as the Steam took the first game of the two game series on a rare Friday night game.

Christian Blick started in net for Michigan but was chased after only 10 minutes into the first period. Jason Spada took over in relief, but ended up taking the loss in 50 minutes of action.

The rematch is scheduled for Saturday night at 8:00 PM at Sports Plus Ice Arena.
